IGS Campus: a national college programIGS Campus gives college students the opportunity to intern with IGS, creating and developing their own IGS chapter on campus. We work with your professors and university to open an official IGS chapter that you decide how to operate, always striving to meet the following goals: - Find people that need IGS's help and organize projects to help them - Increase awareness of our mission to protect people from disasters - Increase the number of students in the chapter - Hold events to raise funds for your chapter's volunteer projects To begin your IGS Campus chapter, send an email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. To get you started, IGS's Founder, Philip Gilpin, will come to your campus and speak to your class or group to help you launch the chapter. Additionally... Thanks to the good people at Facebook and the Network For Good, you can now organize your own IGS CAMPUS volunteer trip, create your own fundraising goals, recruit friends and keep track of your progress all on Facebook! Simply go to the International Green Shield "Causes" page (click here) and join the cause.
Once you've joined, there are three easy steps to get started: 1) Invite your friends to join the cause 2) Set a fundraising goal ($1,000 by the New Year, etc.) 3) Check in every week to see how your friends are helping you reach your goal. All the money you raise on Facebook goes directly to IGS. You don't have to worry about handling any money. If you are raising money for a specific volunteer project, email us at
